Leather is one of Bangladesh’s oldest industries. Bangladesh’s leather industry, which exports 10% of global demand for leather, has become the country’s second-largest source of foreign exchange after RMG. Bangladesh has 2% of the world’s livestock population due to its favourable environment for raising and nurturing animals. Bangladeshi leather is well-known around the world for its high-quality fine-grain leather, uniform fibre structure, smooth feel, and natural texture.
